Collaboration with Stefan Savoy

Gooxander Plush (3D Modeling, Sewing)

I wanted to test using 3D modeling to create sewing patterns for stuffed animals, so I reached out to 3D Designer Stefan Savoy to collaborate on a design. Stefan sketched a number of exaggerated animal designs before we settled on a goose with a long neck. We went through several iterations as we discussed the form of the neck and how it would look on a stuffed animal when sewn and exposed to gravity. After we agreed on a model, I modified it to extract the UV maps for use as sewing pattern pieces. After printing out the pattern, I sewed the final plush.
